The design of a centrifugal fan, which is also often called a radial fan, includes two main elements – an electric motor and an impeller with a number of blades. Such a simple device ensures uninterrupted movement of air masses in a relatively quiet mode. The blades of such a fan can be curved forward, backward and straight for injection or suction. Due to these features, centrifugal fans are more often used in industrial applications, to work with large volumes of air.
