Flanges – elements of the pipeline, which are disks or rings with evenly spaced holes for studs or bolts, designed for strong and tight connection of pipes and pipeline fittings, for mounting individual parts of the pipeline, as well as for connecting equipment to the pipeline.
Flanges are used to connect fittings with pipelines, connect individual sections of pipelines to each other and to connect pipelines to various equipment. Flanges provide tightness and strength of structures, as well as ease of manufacture, disassembly and assembly.
