Coupling – an element that is used to connect the ends of the shafts of the electric motor and the pump and ensure the transmission of torque. The main purpose is to ensure the transfer of mechanical energy without loss of its magnitude. In addition, the clutch serves to relieve high loads from other mechanisms, corrects the course of the shafts, and also ensures their separation and connection during operation.
